About My Clients
You are taking a giant step in life to heal, process, and grow- congratulations! I am here to help navigate these sometimes scary and uncomfortable feelings. While I mainly work with the perinatal population, I am also fond of assisting women through various life transitions. I have no agenda-I believe in meeting each individual client where they are at.
My Background and Approach
The transition to motherhood is a singular experience for each woman, yet universal. My goal is to help you navigate these uncharted waters and normalize unfamiliar feelings. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and have completed the Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders: Components of Care and the Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Training through Postpartum Support International (PSI). In addition, I was a hospice social worker for nine years. I bring experience and compassion to your new family dynamic. I personally understand the feelings of grief and loss that can accompany new motherhood. I can assist you in adjusting to your new life in a nonjudgmental way that fits your individual needs. If you are experiencing difficulties in your identity and role as a mother, please know that you are not alone and I am here to support you during this journey using an integrative, holistic approach along with CBT exercises.
