Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Dialectical Behavioral Therapy interventions EMDR informed--finishing up consultation Mindfulness techniques Body-based calming and grounding techniques Art interventions Play therapy--CBT, child-directed, Adlerian Parent training--I use elements of Conscious Discipline, attachment theory, The Incredible Years program, and teaching you to do play therapy with your child. I will often have snacks in my office for clients. I also try to incorporate things that interest you, such as art, games, music, or short videos that are significant. I hold a Christian worldview, which greatly influences the way I view and treat people, how I see good and evil interacting in the world, and where ultimate hope and Truth come from. I am respectful of clients who do not share the same beliefs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in pursuing wholeness in every area of life, including within family interactions. I believe that kids need both positive female and male influences in their lives in order to have a better understanding of humanity and relationships.
