About My Clients
I work with young adults struggling with drug and alcohol use, self-worth issues, and trouble adjusting to the challenges in life. I help clients find their voice and fulfill their true potential. I’m so glad you’re here. My goal as a therapist is to empower my clients to be the best version of themselves. We are unique, with our own special circumstances. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We’ll do what works for you and your life.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from Troy University with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. I have worked in substance abuse treatment and a facility for adolescents with behavioral issues. I counsel from a client-centered perspective, often using cognitive-behavioral therapy and a solution-focused framework. You are the expert on your life. I am here to learn about you and support your journey. During therapy, you can expect to explore your problem, but we will work together to find and focus on solutions. We will create a space of understanding and acceptance. You can feel completely free to be who you are, no matter where you are in life right now. The therapy process will leave you feeling empowered and fulfilled. I view therapy as a partnership- a partnership in which we work together to identify what you want do less of, what you want more of, and work toward the future you want and deserve for yourself.
