About My Clients
I work best with self-aware adults who've already done work—through therapy, reading, or reflection—and are ready to go deeper than insight alone can take them. Many function well outwardly but carry old survival patterns underneath: overthinking, difficulty relaxing, a nervous system on alert when things are calm. I specialize in EMDR for trauma processing, alongside a whole-person approach to sleep, nutrition, and physical regulation. Ready to shift patterns at the root? This is a good fit.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), licensed in both Colorado and Arizona. I'm EMDR-certified, which means I'm trained specifically in helping the nervous system process and release stuck trauma responses—not just talk through them. My path into this work started in school counseling, which gave me years of grounding in how patterns form early and how the body holds stress long before we have language for it. That background shapes how I practice now: trauma-informed, whole-person, and focused on nervous system regulation alongside emotional insight. I practice exclusively via telehealth, so sessions fit into your actual life—no commute, no waiting room, just consistent, focused time when you need it. Whether you're managing anxiety, old trauma, or patterns you're ready to finally shift, my approach is built to meet you where their nervous system actually is.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I live and work on a family ranch/farm in rural Colorado, where growing our own food and working the land daily shapes how I see healing. I believe people aren't broken—they're often just unsure where to start making change, and that change happens best when we look at root causes, not just symptoms. I value hard work, kindness, and respect above almost everything. I believe in real food, time outdoors, and treating the whole person—not a diagnosis.
