About My Clients
Are you tired of feeling stuck or overwhelmed? Do your insecurities and thoughts get in the way? Maybe you've tried everything you've been told to do, and it’s just not working. Let’s face it—adolescence and young adulthood can be tough. But imagine if there were something that could make it easier. I help young adults, young professionals, and teens get out of their heads and start creating a life they love.
My Background and Approach
Through a series of personal and life experiences, I discovered that I have a passion for sharing life with and supporting others. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gonzaga University, and have used my education to practice counseling in a variety of settings including: outpatient community mental health clinics, schools, primary care offices, medical facilities, and a private outpatient office. I have been privileged to work with individuals of all ages, identities, cultures, and backgrounds and to have provided individual therapy, group therapy, crisis services, and case-management. My specialties include depression, anxiety, trauma/stress, life transition and adjustment, ADHD, family conflict, esteem-building, and self-reflection. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, client-centered therapy, and creative modalities (art, play, writing, etc.) to help individuals work towards treatment goals and discover their potential.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all individuals are capable of realizing their potential and finding purpose. I further believe that your involvement in your healing process and worldview are essential to your healing. I believe it is important to consider the whole individual in a therapy process, and to acknowledge how culture may interact with healing. I strive to create an inclusive environment with your wellness at the focus. My goal is to be your advocate and to partner with you to help you create desired change.
