About My Clients
Dr. Trent has extensive experience treating anxiety disorders across a variety of populations (children, adolescents, and adults). Presenting issues include Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Specific Phobias (e.g., fear of flying), and others. A large proportion of her cases are Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and often require more intensive treatment conducted in the patient’s home.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Trent has extensive training, applied experiences, and a commitment to providing the most innovative, scientifically based interventions tailored to individual patient needs. She previously served as a Research Psychologist In the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine integrating empirically-based diagnostic assessment into clinical treatment of anxiety and related disorders.
