About My Clients
Are you experiencing anxiety and low self-esteem? Or maybe you’re struggling with setting boundaries. Are you pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or grieving a loss? Are you a parent in the postpartum period? If you answered yes to any of these questions, I am here to help. I specialize in perinatal (from pregnancy and beyond) mental health and anxiety disorders. I also have a particular interest in working with parents of children with complex medical needs.
My Background and Approach
As an affirming therapist, my door is open to any client, of any gender, any sexuality, with any family makeup. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina. I primarily utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and have special training in working with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee (#4112).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Because helping parents (of all types) is my speciality, it’s imperative that potential clients understand that I am open and affirming of all families. I proudly support my LGBTQIA+ And BIPOC community members through professional and personal advocacy.
