About My Clients
I work with individuals ages 14+ who are looking for support in working through difficulty experiences and have a desire to make changes and find a deeper understanding. I work with the LGBTQ+ community as well as individuals with trauma (including complex trauma and religious trauma), eating disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and relationship challenges.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania with an MA in clinical counseling. I have primarily worked with individuals with trauma. This has helped build my approach to be holistic and partnering with the client throughout the therapeutic process. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to ensure that therapy is individualized for each client’s needs. I use a client centered approach while combining techniques from emotion focused therapy, somatic experiencing therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I approach challenges from the perspective of a mind-body connection and working to create balance in all areas of one’s life. I utilize a Health at Every Size framework for all clients but especially when working with clients with eating disorders and other disordered eating challenges.
