About My Clients

Burnout, overwhelm, and carrying everyone else’s weight can leave you disconnected from yourself. I help you reconnect with your body’s wisdom so you can move through life with more calm, self-trust, and compassion — not by fixing, but by working with yourself.
My Background and Approach
Our bodies hold the stories our minds can’t always put into words. When stress or trauma builds up, it can leave you feeling disconnected, tense, or stuck in survival mode. In therapy, we slow things down and gently tune in to what your body’s been carrying. I weave EMDR’s bilateral stimulation into somatic work, helping your brain and body reconnect so healing can unfold at a natural pace — not by pushing or forcing, but by allowing. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #88945) with advanced training in Somatic and EMDR therapy. This work isn’t about “fixing” you; it’s about helping you build trust with yourself aI am an LPC in Houston TX. I earned my Bachelors degree in psychology and my Masters degree in clinical mental health counseling. I then completed a 3 and a half year post-graduate fellowship where I received specialized training in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I now own and operate my practice called Grounded In Truth Counseling.

In our sessions, we move at your pace, listening to what your body is holding and guiding it through what it needs — not forcing, not fixing. Together, we explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion, and care, so you can reclaim moments of ease, clarity, and self-trust. This work isn’t about becoming perfect or doing it “right.” It’s about helping you move through life with greater steadiness, connection, and confidence in yourself — even amidst life’s chaos.
