About My Clients
I enjoy supporting clients who are wanting to learn healthy boundaries, self-esteem, and communication skills that are oftentimes affected by painful relationships. It is also my passion helping clients build their repertoire of coping skills for issues such as anxiety, depression/mood issues, and trauma and who are ready to take the brave steps towards progress. I am here to help you become the best version of yourself.
My Background and Approach
It has been such a privilege working in the mental health field for the past 14 years and with clients from all different backgrounds, cultures, and ages. I specialize in treating trauma/abuse, anxiety, and depression. My passion is helping clients build upon their communication, coping, and relationship skills that help make life feel more manageable for them. My hope is to make therapy the most helpful and productive experience for my clients, and I recognize that every person has their own path to learning and making progress. I utilize a tailored therapeutic approach that welcomes collaboration and feedback to most effectively meet my clients' needs. Previous clients have said that they appreciate my balance of being direct, warm, engaging, easy to talk to, humorous, and empathic.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Supporting Christian clients as they grow in their faith, identity, and life purpose is a calling of mine, and I believe that prayer is integral in the counseling process. Though, if faith is something that is not as important, I am happy to honor your values and focus on what you would like to in session.
