About My Clients

Many of my clients appear capable and composed on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and emotionally drained on the inside. They continuously overachieve and overperform for others while neglecting themselves. They yearn to feel grounded, self-possessed, and aligned with their authentic selves, but aren’t sure how to get there. In therapy, we work on slowing down in order to reflect, gain clarity, reconnect with their purpose and restore balance to their day-to-day.

My Background and Approach

As a Master’s level clinician, I blend a person-centered approach with a variety of evidence-based modalities like psychodynamic therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to form an integrative practice that allows me to meet you where you are. I emphasize collaboration so I can promote healing within your particular context and at your pace. We will explore your emotions, values, identity, relationships, background, and environment to identify stressors and patterns that are keeping you stuck. When working with me, you can expect conversations and techniques that are down-to-earth, realistic, and culturally sensitive. I am intentional about building a therapeutic relationship based on warmth and trust, fortifying you to do the work of building self-awareness, replacing harmful or ineffective coping strategies, setting boundaries, and taking action steps towards your goals. Real, lasting change is a difficult process, but with the right tools and support, growth is attainable.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, heard, and accepted. I recognize getting started on a mental health journey can seem like an intimidating process, which is why I am committed to creating an inclusive and affirming therapeutic environment for people from all walks of life. I approach care through a lens that respects the individual experience and empowers people to find and use their voice to tell their unique stories. In making therapy approachable and tailored to the individual, my goal is to reduce stigma around seeking help, especially in communities and homes where mental health challenges are often disregarded. I am here to provide safety and stability as we navigate your pain points and work toward positive change.
