About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I work with adults who struggle with issues pertaining to anxiety, depression, self-acceptance, inner confidence, loneliness, codependency, attachment issues, and people-pleasing tendencies. By increasing self awareness, I will help you to understands patterns in yourself and your relationships so that you can implement the change you crave. My goal is to create a comfortable, laid back, yet effective counseling atmosphere. I will never tell you what to do in your life - that is not my job. My job is to listen without judgement, provide insight as necessary, and to give you tools to reach the goals that you are setting for yourself. I am here to be a support and a resource as you learn more about yourself, your mental health, and the world around you, and my hope is that we will even have a few laughs along the way. I will meet you wherever you're at in your journey, and we will navigate this together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each individual is the expert of themselves and their own lives. There is no one way to live your life, and there's not even a "right" or "wrong" way. It's simply whatever feels the most authentic to you and whatever is bringing you the most happiness. There can be discomfort in this, as we shift from the norm and embrace what truly feels right for our lives - I believe that's to be expected. I also believe there is beauty in living a life that you have created, not simply a life that you feel you must conform to. To sum it up, I believe you love who you love, religion/spirituality is a personal journey, and there is much to be learned from the diverse backgrounds that surround us each day. We're different, and we're supposed to be - that's what makes it beautiful.
