About My Clients
Many of the people I work with are navigating seasons of change ...anxiety, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Sometimes the ways we learned to cope, succeed, or protect ourselves no longer fit the life we want to create. I support adults who are curious about their story, interested in understanding their patterns, and hoping to reconnect with their values, strengths, and sense of direction.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 4 years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, grief, transitions, relationship challenges, and seasons of growth. I am also a psychology educator, which reflects one of the foundations of my work: curiosity about people, the stories we carry, and our ability to continue learning and changing. My approach is grounded in Adlerian therapy, which looks at how our experiences, relationships, beliefs, and need for belonging shape the way we move through the world. I also draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed) practices, ACT, CBT, strengths-focused, and trauma-aware approaches. Therapy with me is collaborative and human. We may explore patterns, build practical tools, reconnect with your values, and better understand the different parts of yourself that have helped you along the way. My goal is not to tell you who to become, but to support you in reconnecting with who you are and where you want to go next.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone carries a story worth understanding. One of the values that guides my work and life is curiosity: recognizing that our experiences, cultures, relationships, identities, communities, and environments shape how we understand ourselves and the world. My background as both a counselor and psychology educator has strengthened my belief that understanding ourselves and others should feel accessible, not intimidating. Psychology belongs to all of us, and I value spaces where people can explore themselves with honesty, compassion, and curiosity. I believe humans are deeply connected to each other, our communities, animals, and the natural world around us. Outside of my work, I find meaning in nature, caring for animals, creativity, and lifelong learning. People are more than a single belief, identity, struggle, role, or chapter of their lives. My hope is to meet each person with curiosity and respect while honoring you as the expert of your own story.
