About My Clients
Feeling isolated, and having trouble adjusting to life as a new parent? Having difficulty connecting with your partner, or coping with a traumatic event that just won't get out of your head? I have specialized training in working with adolescents, LGBTQI, couples, first responders, and new or expecting mothers. Clients can expect to take new insights, education, and heightened awareness when they leave sessions. Together, we can look at things from a new perspective and create lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about collaborating with clients in a warm and safe environment free of judgment so that clients can work through problems, and process pain from their past. Together, we will identify personal strengths and motivating factors in order to facilitate positive change. Since people are not “one size fits all,” Lindsay uses several modalities during therapy in order to customize treatment for each and every client and adapt as needed based on their feedback.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm believer that anyone is capable of getting themselves "unstuck" from negative patterns of thinking and behaving in order to live their best life. In order to do so, we need to examine these behaviors and thought patterns so that we can break the cycle that is making them unhappy. I also believe that the root of suffering is when we live in a way that is true to ourselves. Once people learn to trust their intuition, regain their voice, and speak their truth, they are able to heal.
