My experience as a therapist spans a broad array of settings and levels-of-care, including: inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and college counseling.
My passion for treating eating disorders, mood disorders, and trauma was born out of a deep appreciation of the power of the brain-body connection. I am committed to helping clients strengthen both physical well-being and mental well-being while working toward healing.
My clients are some of the most compassionate, resilient, creative, clever, and strong individuals I have ever encountered. Many times my clients have developed ways to cope and protect themselves that no longer serve them. My approach involves addressing those ways of coping that are no longer beneficial by helping clients identify triggers, build a new repertoire of coping skills, learn to conceptualize issues differently, and explore how past experiences are linked to present concerns.
