About My Clients
You might be here because your mind won't stop, because rituals and "what if" thoughts are eating your day, or because you're watching your child struggle and don't know how to help. You might be doing everything "right" and still feel stuck. I work with children, teens, adults, and families who want real relief, not just a place to vent. Most of the people I see are dealing with anxiety, OCD, trauma, depression, grief, or major life transitions.
My Background and Approach
Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and practical. You won't be handed a worksheet and sent on your way. We'll work together to understand what's driving your anxiety or OCD, then build skills you can use in real life. My training centers on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which are the evidence-based approaches with the strongest track record for anxiety and OCD. I also draw on trauma-informed care, family systems, and play-based work with younger clients, so sessions fit your age, your story, and your pace. If you're nervous about starting therapy, especially ERP, that's completely normal. I'll explain every step, and you'll never be asked to do something you haven't had a say in.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe OCD and anxiety are treatable, and that people get better when they feel understood first. I'm especially passionate about helping families learn how to support a loved one with OCD without accidentally feeding the cycle.
