About My Clients

I am passionate about working with the LGBTQQIA community. I have focused a significant amount of my schooling on working with LGBTQQIA couples and am extremely passionate about this area. I also focus on working with children under the age of 8, and love to do play and art therapy with these children.

My Background and Approach

I worked as an addictions counselor for 5 years before returning to school for marriage and family therapy. I work mostly with children under the age of 8 years old using play therapy and art therapy. I tend to use an eclectic approach to therapy, fitting my approach to the client rather than having the client fit my therapy style.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am an active member of the LGBTQQIA community and testified in front of congress to ban conversion therapy in Colorado. I lobby the senate often in regards to creating necessary changes to advance the LGBTQQIA community. I worked in an animal shelter for many years and currently volunteer to raise money and awareness to end domestic violence.
