About My Clients
Starting counseling is rarely an easy decision. My clients are often teens figuring out next steps, or hard-working adults exhausted from pushing through. Many are navigating the unique nuances of neurodivergence (ADHD/OCD/Autism), chronic health conditions (like POTS, EDS, PCOS, or autoimmune issues), anxiety/depression, or the isolating process of religious deconstruction in the Bible Belt. If you are feeling overwhelmed by major life transitions or anxiety, it makes sense that you are here.
My Background and Approach
I've been in this field for 5 years and I thoroughly enjoy what I do! You deserve a space where you can be completely authentic and open about what you are going through. I truly love meeting people from all walks of life, and my core approach is to meet you exactly where you are. I recognize that standard therapeutic approaches don't work for everyone, especially if you are neurodivergent or managing the unpredictable reality of chronic illness. I specialize in trauma, ADHD, OCD, and Autism and I actively customize the therapy process to fit how your specific brain and body work. Therapy with me is about learning to trust yourself. Together, we can work collaboratively to replace harsh self-criticism with self-compassion. We will focus on discovering the most helpful way forward, equipping you to learn how to set boundaries that actually protect your peace, and helping you feel confident in your own decisions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I deeply believe that you are the expert on your own life, body, and mind. Living in the Bible Belt can add intense layers of pressure, shame, and expectation, especially for those undergoing religious deconstruction or navigating LGBTQ+ identities. I believe therapy should be a deeply affirming space where you can question, unlearn, and rebuild your belief systems without fear of judgment. I also believe in the critical intersection of mental and physical health. Navigating a world not built for neurodivergent minds or chronic illnesses like EDS, POTS, PCOS, and Endometriosis is exhausting. I validate those invisible struggles because your physical reality profoundly impacts your mental well-being. You shouldn't have to constantly mask or justify your pain. Finding the right therapist is a highly personal decision. Whenever you feel ready, I invite you to reach out for a brief, no-pressure chat to see if therapy with me feels like the right fit for you.
