My Background and Approach
I am a Christian mental health counselor with a heart for helping individuals experience true healing—emotionally and spiritually. My background includes working with clients navigating anxiety, intrusive thoughts, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I have a special interest in supporting those processing difficult experiences such as divorce, co-parenting stress, and patterns rooted in past wounds. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as cognitive and behavioral strategies, while also integrating faith for those who desire it. I believe healing happens when we address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. In our work together, we will identify unhelpful thought patterns, build practical coping skills, and develop greater self-awareness. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. My goal is to help you grow in resilience, find clarity, and move forward with con
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person is created with inherent worth, purpose, and dignity. As a Christian counselor, my faith shapes how I view healing, growth, and the counseling relationship. I believe true and lasting change happens when we address both the emotional and spiritual aspects of a person’s life. While I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches, I also recognize the importance of faith, grace, and truth in the healing process. I believe that struggles such as anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and relational pain do not define a person’s identity. Instead, they are experiences that can be understood, processed, and overcome with the right support. I value creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and beliefs openly. For clients who desire it, I incorporate biblical principles to help guide insight, strengthen identity, and foster hope, healing, and a deeper relationship with God.
