About My Clients

Are you someone who shows up for others, gives grace, and shows compassion but rarely has enough left in their jar to give to themselves? Do you tend to everyone's needs while forgetting about yourself? Maybe life’s experiences have kept you feeling stuck and you're ready to unpack the baggage that is weighing you down? You owe it to yourself to put your needs first and live a life of purpose. I encourage you to bet on yourself and go after what is needed to change the ending of your story.

My Background and Approach

With over 15 years in the mental health field, my experience is rich and diverse with regard to the setting and population that I have served. As a seasoned therapist, I have provided treatment in numerous settings, including outpatient clinics, psychiatric inpatient units, crisis intervention/screening units, intensive in-home, residential placements, private practice, and school settings. I have been trained in Trauma Focused CBT, Mindfulness, and I am also trained in conducting Immigration Psychological Evaluations. I specialize in helping teen girls and women address the matters of the heart that exhibit in the form of depression, anxiety, adjustment related-stress, relationship issues, mother-daughter conflicts, inner child wounds, low self-esteem, and trauma, just to name a few.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am driven by compassion and empathy in my work with clients. Furthermore, I consider myself to be a “heart-based therapist,” as I strongly believe that if your heart is sick or broken, it will show up in every area of your life. It is my passion to encourage women and teenage girls to embrace the beauty in their journey. When working with a client, I realize that building a relationship with the client is the most vital part of the therapeutic process.
