I work with women and men and specialize in depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, adult children of alcoholics, PTSD, relationship issues, grief and loss, dealing with life limiting and terminal illness, women’s issues, and aging. Treatment approaches used are psycho-dynamic, trauma informed and cognitive behavioral.
My Background and Approach
I use an eclectic approach to therapy. My training is primarily in psychodynamic therapy. The goals of psychodynamic therapy are self-awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present behavior. In the first session, we will explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress.
