About My Clients
I am solely working with women, specializing in Christian counseling. I am committed to helping my clients find strength, resilience, and hope on their journey. I know that looking for a therapist can be a daunting task, but I commend you for getting the process started! I look forward to connecting with you and working to help you grow in grace.
My Background and Approach
My faith informs my counseling approach, which aims to understand how you’ve learned to experience the world around you; works to correct thoughts and beliefs derived as a result of these experiences. Over the years I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults, providing individual, family, and group counseling. I have vast experience working through various mental health struggles including but not limited to anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, addiction, abuse; other forms of trauma, family dysfunction, relational struggles, crisis, body image, and spiritual struggles. Doing so has reinforced my belief that the person and work of Christ must be central to effectively work through the challenges living in a broken world presents. My education, training, and experience have provided me with the exposure needed to craft my skills as a counselor. I hold a B.S. in Psychology from Nyack College and an M.S. Ed. in Mental Health Counseling from CUNY Hunter College.
