My Background and Approach
I am a relational trauma therapist with experience working with issues of self esteem, trauma, anxiety and depression. I believe our bodies carry the wisdom to help us heal and often it is our disconnection from ourselves that can cause us to feel broken. You don’t have to continue feeling this way, and you don’t have to do it alone. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I use a tailored approach to each individual as I believe that what works for some doesn’t work for all. I believe that the relationship between the two of us is essential for the success of any treatment. So I like to get to know my clients and then utilize interventions that the two of us decide on together. This might be EMDR, some mindfulness or even trauma-sensitive yoga. Somatically we might work on the ways the body stores trauma and use it as information in the healing. This might look like working with the inner child and moving and voicing in a way they did not get the opportunity.
