About My Clients

Clients who tend to benefit from my approach are those who feels stuck in patterns that once helped them cope but no longer serve them. Whether they are struggling with anxiety, an eating disorder, body image concerns, or life transitions, they are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and a stronger connection to their values. Therapy is a space to develop both insight and practical skills, creating lasting change that feels authentic and sustainable.

My Background and Approach

I am a Mental Health Counselor with specialized experience treating eating disorders and supporting individuals navigating body image concerns, anxiety, perfectionism, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. My clinical background includes working across higher levels of care, including partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, where I served as both a primary therapist and clinical team lead. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the complex factors that contribute to emotional distress and the recovery process. I have seen how struggles with food, body image, anxiety, and self-worth are often connected to broader patterns of coping, avoidance, and self-criticism. My approach combines practical skill-building with deeper self-understanding, helping clients not only manage symptoms but also gain insight into what keeps them stuck. Together, we work toward meaningful, sustainable change that feels aligned with their values and goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people deserve compassion, especially during the moments they feel most misunderstood. We live in a world that can be quick to judge, and one of the values that guides both my life and my work is the belief that every person has a story worth understanding. I am passionate about creating inclusive, affirming spaces where people of all identities feel respected and supported. I practice from a weight-inclusive perspective and recognize the impact that culture, relationships, societal expectations, and systems can have on our mental health and sense of self. I also believe that many of the behaviors we struggle with began as attempts to cope, survive, or protect ourselves. Rather than viewing people through a lens of judgment, I am interested in understanding how those patterns developed and helping clients build a stronger sense of self-trust moving forward.
