About My Clients
You’ve been holding it together, but inside it feels like too much—too much anxiety, too many “what ifs,” too many moments where your past shows up uninvited. Maybe you’re tired of overthinking everything, stuck in patterns that don’t make sense, or turning to food when nothing else helps. Maybe your relationships feel more draining than supportive, or you’ve just been in survival mode for way too long. You don’t have to keep doing this alone. I work with adults 21+. Let’s do this!
My Background and Approach
I work with adults like you—smart, capable people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. In therapy, we’ll slow down, make space for what’s really going on, and start sorting through the mess with curiosity, compassion, and maybe a little humor when it helps. I use a research-backed approach called acceptance and commitment therapy to help you get clear on what matters and take steps toward a life that feels more like your own. This work isn’t always easy—but it doesn’t have to be cold, clinical, or something you dread. You deserve a space where you feel seen, accepted, and supported. If you’re ready to get started, I’m here to walk with you. I’m a trauma and anxiety therapist based in Wilmington, NC. Use my free phone consultation to get to know me and see if we’re a good fit. Taking this first step is a big deal, and I am excited to join you on this path.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find me soaking up nature—whether it’s hiking a quiet trail, sitting by the ocean, or just chasing sunsets. The beach and the mountains are my go-to places to recharge and reconnect. I believe in living simply, spending time with people I care about, and making meaningful memories over perfect plans. I’m also a bit of a research nerd—I love learning about health, nutrition, and psychology (yes, even in my free time). Creative writing is another outlet that helps me reflect and stay grounded. And if there’s live music playing somewhere nearby, there’s a good chance I’m already there. These interests shape how I show up in therapy—curious, real, and grounded in what matters most.
