My Background and Approach
I believe therapy should be a collaborative process between clinician and client, to foster rapport and communication. I look forward to learning from my clients and discovering the best ways to help and serve them. My goal is to walk alongside you in your mental health journey because you are an expert on you! I am currently interested in working with teens and adult individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and persistent mental illnesses, going through life transitions and adjustments, and individuals looking for stress management and coping skills, as well as address specific concerns within marginalized/oppressed communities (BIPOC), I am also interested in marriage and family counseling. I help clients address these different mental health concerns by utilizing approaches such as Dialectic behavioral therapy, Cognitive behavior therapy, Solution focused, and being trauma informed. I received my master’s degree in Clinician Psychology from the University of Minnesota .
