I enjoy working with adults and male clients, helping them develop self-awareness, heal from past traumatic experiences, and challenge negative thoughts that sustain mental health issues and low self-esteem. My clients often report having a harsh inner critic and difficulty connecting with themselves and others in a meaningful way.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with advanced training in trauma and eating-disorder care. I’ve worked in multiple levels of care since 2019—IOP, PHP, and outpatient—so I understand what helps at each stage of recovery and how to create a step-down plan that actually sticks. Clients tell me this makes treatment feel safer, more structured, and more effective. My primary approach to therapy is existential and humanistic. I'm honest, direct, and non-judgmental. I enjoy helping my clients develop self-awareness, self-compassion, and a more flexible and expansive view of themselves and the world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person has the innate ability to grow and change. Avoiding pain often creates more suffering, so my focus is on helping clients face challenges with compassion and courage. I work to support people in recognizing their strengths, seeing themselves as capable and resilient, and moving toward their full potential. With the right tools and guidance, I believe everyone can heal, overcome difficulties, and create a more fulfilling life.
