My Background and Approach
My style is caring and not judgmental; I utilize Cognitive behavioral therapy, existential therapy, and Brief Cognitive hypnosis to guide you in the process of learning new skills to manage your thoughts, emotions and behavior. After the first session, we will start to focus on the skills that will help us to reach your goals, according to your personal needs and expectations. We will start focusing on identifying the negative automatic thoughts that have been affecting your emotions and behaviors, and you will learn the techniques to make changes about those thoughts which will lead to changes related to emotions and behaviors.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am bilingual in Spanish and English. I am a painter and a poet; I consider that Art is another wonderful tool to achieve healing. I believe that we have an inner unlimited potential to reach our goals and to achieve our dreams if we learn to use the appropiate tools. I believe in justice for all and freedom. I believe that we have the right to achieve happiness.
