About My Clients
Ambitious, self-aware, and anxious pros tired of pushing through. Craving space to be held, understood, and gently unraveled.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, EMDR-certified, IFS-informed, and trained in somatic practices. My background includes work in LGBTQ+ mental health and HIV services, which shaped my view of therapy as both healing and justice-oriented. I help high-achieving, often anxious professionals gently explore the roots of overwhelm, trauma, and disconnection. My approach is collaborative, trauma-focused, and body-aware. I honor your lived experience and use EMDR, parts work, and somatic tools to support lasting change. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, or recovery, therapy with me is a space to be real, feel safe, and move toward relief, clarity, and self-Trust.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I started my career in LGBTQ+ mental health and HIV services, and that shaped everything about how I practice today. I’m EMDR-certified, IFS-informed, and trained in somatic work—but beyond the tools, I deeply believe that therapy should honor who you are and what you’ve lived through. I see medical and mental health care as human rights, and I know how often our community is failed by systems that were never built with us in mind. The current political climate weighs heavily, especially for queer and trans folks navigating fear, rage, and exhaustion. I hold space for all of it—your grief, your brilliance, your coping, and your clarity. You don’t have to over-explain here. You get to show up exactly as you are and be met with respect, softness, and support.
