My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 8 years of experience in working with individuals and families to support healing, growth, and connection. I earned my Master’s degree in Social work from Portland State University in 2018. Since that time I have had the privilege of working with diverse individuals ranging from children and families to young adults and adults. I have a wide range of experience working with individuals in different settings. My experience includes working with youth and families involved with Juvenile Justice, survivors of sexual trauma and domestic violence as well as providing mental health services in a primary care setting. I am passionate about serving the Latinx community and providing culturally responsive mental health services. I enjoy using narrative therapy as I believe that people are the experts of their own lives. My practice with clients involves being trauma informed and working in partnership to help achieve well being and harmony.
