About My Clients
I specialize in working with parents and families with children (0-5 years) seeking mental health and parenting support through the perinatal period and/or in helping their little one cope through a stressful experience. I also work with adults navigating relationships, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and/or life transitions. My Background and Approach
I’m committed to practicing with genuine authenticity, nonjudgmental-ness and compassion and my hope is to reflect a mirror through which you may see yourself with the same inherent qualities. Attachment- and relationship-based perspectives and practices, embedded within Internal Family Systems, Child Parent Psychotherapy and Circle of Security Parenting, are central in my therapeutic approach. I also often integrate skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help me meet each client where they're at while helping them learn how to live more connected with themselves and the people and places around them.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the power of healing through relationships and that the experiences we’ve lived through can be a part of our stories while not defining the core of who we are or where and how we may move forward in life. Finding a moment to breathe, think about what we feel and need, or fully participate in the present can feel near impossible as we work to navigate relationships, pregnancy, parenting, work, school, grief and loss, life transitions, or mental health experiences. Amidst it all, we can begin to feel disconnected and like life is passing us by. My hope is to hold time and space with you where slower rhythms may invite new ways of connecting to your internal truths and releasing things that no longer serve you, all so you may live the life you desire.
