About My Clients
Maybe you're carrying grief, childhood wounds, or the weight of old attachment patterns. Perhaps there's a quiet worry inside, wondering if you'll ever feel like you're enough. Some days, it might feel like all you can do is keep your head above water. Or maybe you’re simply looking for a space to exhale, let your guard down, and gently reconnect with the person you truly are, the one you've always been deep down.
My Background and Approach
As your therapist, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood, a space where you can safely let your armor down and show up as your authentic self. I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College, which allows me to approach my work through a systemic framework. This perspective helps us explore how issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions impact various areas of your life. In addition to using family systems approaches, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I am also working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), which enables me to support individuals of all ages, including those with complex trauma histories.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel genuinely heard, seen, and accepted, a place where it's safe to set down the masks we wear and simply be ourselves. I trust in each person’s natural ability to grow and heal. And when that growth happens, it often creates positive shifts not just within, but in the relationships and spaces we’re connected to. I strive to create an affirming, welcoming environment for all. As an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and an anti-racist therapist, I am committed to supporting and standing alongside those whose voices have too often been marginalized. I fully support the Black Lives Matter movement and continue to learn, listen, and advocate for equity and inclusion in my work. When it feels meaningful to you, I also welcome exploring your spiritual beliefs in our sessions. For many, spirituality can be a deep source of strength, grounding, and healing, and I honor the role it can play in the therapeutic process.
