About My Clients
I really love working with clients in the queer community as well as clients who are neurodiverse. Some other issues I especially enjoy working with include: life transitions, relationship struggles/codependency, grief and loss, identity exploration, stress management, anger management, trauma, depression and anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and have experience working with adults in both individual and group settings. My therapeutic style is centered in a relational, person-centered approach, while drawing from the following modalities: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Using somatic-based interventions will also be integral in our work to support you in attending to the mind-body connection that exists within you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I proudly identify as a queer therapist and am committed to creating a space for you to bring all parts of your identity to be seen, heard, understood, and celebrated. I truly believe you will be the only expert of your life in our work together. I will be there to support you, guide you, and challenge you in ways that support your desired growth and healing. It will be my honor to join you on your journey! Outside of work, I love spending time with my partner, friends, and family. Some of my hobbies include playing guitar/writing music, reading, and playing golf. I also have a cat named Oliver who brings me so much joy!
