My Background and Approach
Levi McClendon, Ph.D., is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor, National Board Certified Counselor, Registered Play Therapy, and certified school counselor and teacher in Texas. Dr. McClendon is a counselor in private practice, and teaches graduate students in professional counseling. He received a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Texas San Antonio. Dr. McClendon specializes in trauma counseling utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Dr. McClendon is trained in Adlerian counseling, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and has experience working with anxiety and depression.
