About My Clients
My clients are adults navigating anxiety, trauma, or the weight of patterns passed down through their families. Many have spent years managing things on their own and are ready for real support. I also work with veterans and active-duty service members processing the unique challenges of military life. Whatever brought you here, you don't need to have it all figured out—just a willingness to start. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you.
My Background and Approach
With over ten years of experience, I bring a compassionate, client-centered approach to every session. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) in Georgia, certified in EMDR, and trained in CBT. These tools allow me to tailor our work to what you need—whether that's processing trauma, managing anxiety, or untangling patterns passed down through your family. I also work with veterans and active-duty service members navigating the unique challenges of military life and transition. My approach blends structure with flexibility: we'll set goals together, but I won't rush you toward them. Some sessions focus on practical strategies you can use right away; others go deeper into where certain patterns or reactions began. I believe therapy works best as a true collaboration, and I'll meet you where you are, not where you think you should be. All sessions are offered online, so you can do this work from a space that feels safe to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing isn't about erasing your past, but about changing your relationship to it. Anxiety, trauma, and even the patterns we inherit from our families aren't signs that something is wrong with you—they're often signs of how you adapted to survive something hard. I believe people are far more resilient than they give themselves credit for, even when they feel stuck. I also believe therapy shouldn't feel like a performance. You don't need to have the right words, a clear timeline, or a tidy story. My role isn't to fix you or tell you who to be—it's to walk alongside you, offer tools like EMDR and CBT when they're useful, and help you trust your own capacity to grow. Most of all, I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be honest without fear of judgment, and that real change happens gradually, through consistency and care, not perfection.
