About My Clients
I help individuals and families starting at age 15+. I work with clients dealing with anxiety/depression, trauma recovery, family dynamics and creating healthy relationships. My goal is to create a space to help you increase your self-awareness, understand your strengths and weaknesses and help you grow to become the best version of yourself.
My Background and Approach
I have a BS in Psychology: Family Studies from Corban University. I am currently pursuing my MA in Clinical counseling, expected graduation August 2025. I have been a life coach for 12 years and have helped many clients achieve success in life. I approach counseling from a client-centered focused approach to help individuals through self-exploration and growth. We will walk together to bring healing and wholeness to your life. My counseling approach is a client centered approach with CBT. I offer Biblically based counseling for those who would like that to be integrated into therapy. My goal is to create a safe space for you to heal and grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a Christian and have a biblical approach to counseling. However, I work with people of many faiths and do not impose my beliefs onto anyone. My core values of trust, connection, integrity, serving others and family give me empathy and perspectives to help others heal and grow. Helping others create a life that they love with the ability to thrive and prosper. I believe in taking personal responsibility and living in integrity. We all have the ability to create the life we want but it takes work and growth. Transformation and healing are possible, I have personally experienced it and have helped other to achieve it as well. I love serving in a variety of capacities. As a former missionary in Haiti, Venezuela, and Germany, I have a good sense of other cultures and worldviews to understand a variety of perspectives and beliefs.
