About My Clients
Life can be messy. We've all got "stuff" that's weighing us down, holding us back, or is just plain heavy. I'm honored to be able to walk alongside my clients to help them recognize the strengths they already possess, encourage self-awareness and reflection, and offer a new perspective on their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. My clients are usually looking for a down-to-earth, straightforward confidant who can help them navigate the messiness of life, parenting, and relationships.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is eclectic and uniquely tailored to the needs of each individual client. I firmly believe in being authentic at all times. This means I bring my whole self to the therapeutic relationship. I share your pain, your accomplishments, your challenges, your hopes, and your dreams. You don’t have to walk this path alone; I’m right here beside you! I’m someone who tells it like it is and supports you through the good, the bad, and the ugly. I’ll give you tissues. I’ll laugh loudly, curse, and wear comfy pants. If you’re easily offended, I’m probably not the right therapist for you. I am passionate, relentless in the pursuit of improvement, and dedicated to supporting you every step of the way! My practice incorporates strategies from various approaches including person-centered, trauma-informed, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, self-compassion, and narrative therapies.
