About My Clients
Are you feeling stressed, sad, and like no one understands what you’re going through? Life can be hard and at times we may feel stuck; unsure of how we got there and what steps are needed to move forward. I can assist you in creating a safe space to process, gain self-awareness, acceptance and most importantly, allow for growth. I specialize in working with anxiety and depressive disorders, low self-esteem, difficult life transitions, parenting challenges and relationship issues.
My Background and Approach
I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques and focus on client centered and strength-based approaches. I have been in the social service field for over 9 years and strive to provide a non-judgmental space in treatment for everyone. I comprehend the importance of delivering compassionate and personalized care to individuals and their families. I attended San Diego State University for my undergraduate studies and received my masters in Social Work from Loma Linda University. I have provided services in various settings; community mental health clinics, non-profits, private sector and inpatient psychiatric units. I also work with a diverse population and have experience providing support to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
