About My Clients
Whether you feel controlled by your past trauma, you’re a teen struggling to find your place, or you’re trying to manage the pressures of mastering this whole successful adulting thing, I’m here for you. I’ve worked with clients at their very lowest-in psychiatric hospital settings, homes, communities, schools, and outpatient therapy settings. These experiences have really taught me so much about the complexities of the human condition. I want to help you make sense of the mess & feel better.
My Background and Approach
I am deeply committed to providing hope and healing through a compassionate, non-judgmental approach. My work is rooted in empathy, sensitivity, and care, with a focus on understanding the root causes of challenges. I aim to create a welcoming, judgment-free space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. My goal is to help you feel heard, validated, and safe enough to express even your most vulnerable aspects without fear of judgment. I am here to support you on your journey of self-discovery and resolution.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we’re all capable of growth, no matter where we start. Mental health struggles often come from patterns we’ve learned to survive—but with support, we can unlearn them and create new, healthier ways of living. My own experiences with anxiety, depression, and trauma shape the empathy and understanding I bring to therapy. I’m deeply committed to equity, social justice, and LGBTQ+ advocacy—not just in my practice, but in my community. Outside of therapy, I’m a proud Pittsburgh sports fan, a cat mom to two, and I get my daily workout chasing after my toddler. I also consider keeping houseplants alive a personal growth area! I believe in creating a space where you can be your full, authentic self and feel seen, supported, and safe.
