About My Clients
I specialize in general mental health, which includes a variety of mental disorders. I also offer support and therapeutic interventions for other areas, including but not limited to: grief, postpartum/motherhood, self-esteem building, coping skills, emotional regulation, career transitions, ADHD assessments and more. My ideal client is anyone who has the courage to begin.
My Background and Approach
My background is focused on human behavior within society, organizations, and institutions, supporting a holistic understanding of clients and the systems that influence their well-being. With this understanding, I incorporate multiculturalism into my practice to ensure every client feels seen, valued, and heard. I utilize an ecletic and integrative counseling approach, incorporating evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy. This ensures that I have the range to meet the unique needs of each individual.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is not only an act of self-preservation, but it's also a key component to maintaining a healthy and functioning society. Our mental health shapes our relationship with ourselves and others. Like with physical health, if it goes neglected for too long, the outcome can be dire. My goal is to meet clients where they are and guide them toward the healing they need.
