About My Clients
I specialize in working with children, teens, young adults, and families who are navigating challenges like emotional regulation, school stress, self-esteem, trauma, or family conflict. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward—and together, we work to build skills, confidence, and insight. If you're looking for a therapist who will listen without judgment, meet you where you are, and help you grow in a supportive space, you’re in the right place.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, with over a decade of experience across schools, group homes, outpatient clinics, and juvenile justice systems. My therapeutic style is integrative and tailored to you—we might explore thought patterns, build coping skills, use creative expression, or process past trauma with EMDR (a therapy that helps the brain heal from difficult experiences). I believe that therapy should feel empowering, not intimidating. You’ll always be met with warmth, care, and collaboration in our work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all—and that healing looks different for everyone. I’m committed to providing a space where all people feel welcomed and respected, regardless of background, identity, or life experience. I support causes that promote mental health awareness, racial and social justice, and community empowerment. I’m especially passionate about working with young people who may not always feel heard in traditional spaces. Everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported—and I’m honored to be a part of that journey with my clients.
