About My Clients
In the past I have helped people struggling with addiction issues, life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and grief recovery just to name a few. I have worked with couples who are having relational issues, gay and lesbian couples, intergenerational couples, couples practicing polyamory or open relationships, and couples experiencing infidelity.
My Background and Approach
I am a Doctorate level psychotherapist which encompasses skills and abilities above and beyond your average therapist. In a addition, I am certified in Grief Recovery which provides me with a skill set to truly help individuals struggling with moving forward when they have lost someone that is close to them. My approach to therapy is a collaborative process between the client and myself. The client is the expert on their life experience and we will work together as a team to help alleviate whatever is ailing them. No problem is too small or too big to navigate in the therapeutic environment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Sometimes you come into counseling knowing exactly what you want to change and sometimes it takes time for us to discover this together. Whatever your issue may be, we can collaboratively work through your issues together. My background is varied as I have experience working with children as well as adults. I believe no problem is too big or too small to tackle in the therapeutic environment.
