About My Clients
My ideal clients are those seeking an authentic, empathetic connection to overcome challenges around anxiety, trauma, depression, or identity issues. They want a passionate therapist who truly understands their needs - whether they are children, teenagers, or young adults - and can provide evidence-based treatments including CBT, DBT, and exposure therapy. With my expertise and commitment to creating a safe, open environment, clients can work toward their long-term goals!
My Background and Approach
I utilize an evidence-based approach to therapy when working with individuals one-on-one and in group settings. I received DBT training from Behavioral Tech Institute under the supervision of renowned DBT expert, Andre Ivanoff, Ph.D., am currently attending the LGBTQ+ CBT intensive training with Yale's Mental Health Initiative, and continue to educate myself by taking culturally sensitive trainings around working with Jewish and Israeli clients, including "Understanding Your Jewish Clients: Cultural Competency When Working With the Jewish Population" presented by Rutgers University. My toolbox of evidence-based treatments includes CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), exposure therapy, ACT, DBT, and DBT-PE (dialectical behavior therapy prolonged exposure).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community, Jewish/Israeli population, young adults, children, and adolescents. With a background in entertainment and marketing from my previous career, I transitioned into mental health and earned an MS in Social Work from Columbia University, plus a BA in Film from Penn State. I'm interested in pursuing a doctorate to research how culture, trauma, and sexuality impact one's life trajectory. Most importantly, I look forward to supporting you on your therapeutic journey and helping you achieve your goals.
