About My Clients
If you're grieving someone you love, struggling after a traumatic experience, or finding that anxiety and stress are making it difficult to feel like yourself, you don't have to navigate it alone. I specialize in grief and trauma therapy and EMDR, helping adults process painful experiences and begin to feel grounded again. Whether you decide to reach out today or not, please know that you are not alone. Minute by minute, and hour by hour, you can find your way back.
My Background and Approach
I am a trauma-informed therapist certified in EMDR. I also hold a Ph.D. in workplace psychology, bringing over 20 years of experience with the intersection of mental health and the workplace. Using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, I help others process painful experiences, reduce emotional distress, and develop practical coping skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and accepted. My approach to therapy is grounded in warmth, compassion, kindness, and genuine human connection. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is not to tell you how you should feel or who you should become, but to walk alongside you as we discover what healing means for you. There is no “right” way to heal, no perfect timeline, and no expectation that you should simply move on from painful experiences. Trauma, grief, and life’s difficult moments affect each of us differently, and therapy should honor your individual story. Together, we can create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore what you’ve been through, understand yourself more deeply, and begin to reconnect with your own strengths. We’ll figure out what healing looks like for you—at your pace, in your way—with compassion and hope for what comes next.
