About My Clients
I work with youth, families, students, adults, and clinical professionals balancing many responsibilities, roles, and identities, seeking a space that’s just for them. If you’re navigating big questions about who you are, where you belong, how to cope, or how to care for yourself while showing up for others, I’m here to support you. Together, we’ll create a safe, flexible space to explore your story, establish and navigate your goals, build skills, and reconnect with your true self.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, grounded in genuine curiosity and deep respect for your unique story. I integrate attachment theory and an understanding of intersectionality to tailor support that honors the complexity of your identity and experiences. My background includes working with BIPOC clients, those from non-nuclear families, adoptees, foster care survivors, neurodivergent individuals, and people healing from complex trauma like CPTSD. I create a flexible, collaborative space shaped by your intuition, interests, and lived experience. Our work focuses on what feels meaningful to you—whether through creative expression, problem-solving, goal-setting, or simply being heard. Through empathic listening, I attune closely to your needs, ensuring our work is supportive, relevant, and truly centered on your healing and growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m committed to fostering a world where mental health care services and resources are accessible, equitable, and affirming for all, regardless of background or circumstance. I embrace my own intersectionality and multicultural background as a source of strength and empathy in my work. It’s essential to understand and honor the complexities of identity—how culture, race, gender, and experiences overlap and shape who we are. As someone who didn't have the support, I strive to be the change I want to see in the world by advocating for a space where all voices are valued, all stories are heard, and all are respected. Having my own journey with identity and belonging allows me to genuinely empathize with others navigating similar challenges. It fuels my commitment to social justice, inclusivity, and healing. I’m passionate about fostering connection and understanding, and I believe that by embracing our differences, we can build a more compassionate and equitable world together.
