About My Clients
I specialize in working with young adults and adults experiencing difficult life transitions, anxiety, depression, overwhelming and difficulty regulating emotions, relational concerns, and helping build confidence and self-esteem. Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and keeping up with demands can feel like a constant uphill trek. I aim to help clients feel excited and passionate about life and to face challenges with confidence.
My Background and Approach
I help clients identify unhelpful patterns & bring out their strengths that will guide them towards a more holistic and fulfilling life. I enjoy using a combination of expressive arts, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I'm also a board certified music therapist and certified play therapist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and comfortable atmosphere for clients by using empathy, validation, and compassion while also working to challenge you along the way. I believe my clients are in the driver's seat and I am in the passenger seat. We are all the masters of our lives. My job is to provide my clients with tools while guiding and supporting them throughout the process.
