About My Clients
I specialize in helping families/couples work together effectively & build cohesive units that successfully address life's issue, focusing & building on existing strengths to minimize & eliminate weaknesses., defining each client's inner strengths & helping them recognize their own truths & solutions. I am an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist and work with individuals and couples to overcome trauma.
My Background and Approach
I have a Master's in Clinical Psychology and a Master's in Forensic Psychology. I have knowledge and experience in family reunification, addictions, and mediation. I regularly utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Psychobiological Approach Couple Therapy (PACT), Transactional Analysis, and Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders (Barlow): as treatment modalities. My experience is well rounded and varied and I use this to my clients' advantage.
