My integrative approach to therapeutic work draws from a diverse range of psychodynamic workshops and education involving trauma-informed therapy, adolescent self-image/empowerment, parental alienation, EMDR, mentalization, sex addiction, substance abuse addiction, grief & trauma workshops, mindfulness and postmodern queer ethics.
I began working in the field in 2016 as a Trainee at Counseling West, an affordable nonprofit counseling center in Sherman Oaks. I earned my master’s degree (M.A.) in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute and my B.A. in History from UCLA.
I reside in Sherman Oaks with my two adolescent daughters, my partner and her two children. I am a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the Stonewall LGBTQ Democrats.
