About My Clients
I pair best with clients suffering with mild to moderate anxiety, depression, and PTSD. My ideal client is willing to stay open minded and to try to do the homework assigned. I don't expect my clients to always have time to do assignments, but they do tend to find relief faster when the methods we talk about are included in their daily routines.
My Background and Approach
This career path became of interest to me after my time in the military, where I saw many of my friends' lives destroyed by PTSD. I am now committed to healing and advocacy work for veterans and civilians alike suffering from mental health conditions. If you are willing to put in the effort, I will bring strategies to our sessions with proven success rates, and continually monitor your progress so that I can be sure that you are hitting your personal goals and getting relief from your symptoms. I use a very organized, systematic approach to therapy. I typically spend the first half of session catching up with you and asking what you would like to focus on for that particular day. We then use the second half of session to do work. This could look like EMDR sessions, doing workbook exercises, or using other training tools. The ultimate goal is to give my clients as many tools as I possibly can to address what they want to focus on and to meet their overall goals.
