About My Clients

I specialize in serving diverse individuals, including BIPOC and MENA communities. With a special place on women's issues, I offer culturally sensitive therapy. Believing in innate resilience, I tailor therapy to each client's unique journey, providing a collaborative and empowering space for healing and self-discovery.

My Background and Approach

I am a rising counselor, specializing in clinical mental health with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. Conversant in Arabic, I offer a culturally sensitive approach to therapy. My counseling style integrates a diverse range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered, DBT-informed techniques, and Narrative Therapy. Beyond these, I employ various other modalities in a holistic manner, aligning with the eight dimensions of wellness. My approach is client-centered, meeting individuals where they are in their journey towards healing and growth. One of my favorite quotes is “Be the moon in somebody’s night. Be the ease during someone’s hardship” – Yasmin Mogahed.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

At the heart of my practice is a deep commitment to holistic healing, self-care, and the pursuit of personal growth. I see holistic healing not just as a treatment, but as a way of life, encompassing all aspects of our being. By addressing each dimension of a person's life—emotional, physical, social, spiritual, occupational, environmental, intellectual, and financial—we craft a comprehensive plan for healing and growth. Self-care, to me, is not a luxury but a necessity. It's about nurturing ourselves in body, mind, and spirit, ensuring we have the resilience to navigate life's challenges. I view the journey of healing and self-discovery as ongoing and multifaceted. My goal is to empower individuals to embark on their own paths of healing and self-discovery, guiding them towards greater fulfillment and authenticity. Whether through traditional therapy, mindfulness practices, or holistic interventions, I am dedicated to supporting my clients every step of the way.
